Body Milk Luxury Pro

Moisturising body lotion with aloe vera and geranium flower oil, fragranced with roses and talc. The only product in the range that does not live in the shower.

P&P 450 ml body milk bottle on marble next to folded towels

Body Milk Luxury Pro is the exception in the range: the only product that does not go in the shower. Its place is the vanity counter, beside the hand soap, because it is used after drying off, not while washing.

Why absorption is everything

With a hotel body lotion the problem is never moisturising: it is the minute afterwards. If a film is left behind the guest will not use it, because they have to get dressed — and if they do use it, it ends up on the robe and the bed linen. That is why the data sheet insists on fast absorption and a silky feel: it lets you dress immediately, which is the only condition for it actually being used.

Its pH of 5.2 to 5.8 sits within the physiological range of skin, which makes it suitable for daily use — the scenario of a long stay or a beach destination where the sun dries skin out every day. The actives are aloe vera leaf juice and geranium flower oil.

The detail nobody asks for

Body lotion is the product a guest does not expect to find. Gel, shampoo and soap are taken for granted; body milk is not, which is why it buys more perceived category per euro than anything else in the range. If you have to pick a single product to lift the feel of a room without touching the rest, this is it.

Coverage

A 450 ml bottle gives around 45 applications at 10 ml for full-body use. In practice it lasts far longer than any shower product because it is used occasionally: in a room at average occupancy it is restocked at a third of the rate of the gel.

The fragrance: roses and talc

The fragrance is roses and talc: a classic olfactory code with high acceptance in hotels and care homes, which does not try to imitate the shower but to close it. If your shower has a signature-scent gel, this is the soft counterpoint that comes afterwards.

How to use it, and the paperwork

Apply to clean, dry skin and massage gently until absorbed. The technical data sheet, the safety data sheet and the natural-origin percentage under ISO 16128 are sent with the price list. Ask for the price list, data sheets or a sample.

Frequently asked questions

Where should the body milk go?

Outside the shower, on the vanity counter next to the hand soap. It is used after drying off, so inside the shower it is neither seen nor used.

Does it absorb quickly?

Yes, that is what the data sheet states: a light emulsion with fast absorption and a silky feel, so guests can dress immediately. That is why a dense cream does not work in a hotel.

How often does it need restocking?

Far less often than shower products. It gives about 45 applications and is used occasionally: plan on a third of the gel’s rate in the same room.

What does it smell of?

Roses and talc, a classic olfactory code with high acceptance in hotels and care homes. It does not try to match the shower gel: it comes afterwards and works as a counterpoint.
