Professional Hairdresser frequent-use shampoo

The Champú Professional Frecuencia is the shampoo of the range, and the adjective matters: it is formulated to wash every day without the hair suffering for it — which is exactly what happens in a hotel where a guest washes their hair every morning for a week.

What is in it, and why

• Bamboo extract (Bambusa vulgaris) and hydrolysed soy protein as actives.
• pH 4.80 – 5.50 at 20 °C, matched to the scalp. This is the figure behind “frequent use”: a shampoo outside that range cannot be used daily without the scalp noticing.
• Hydrolysed soy protein, which is the conditioning part: it helps leave hair manageable without needing a second product.
• No added common salt. Salt is used as a cheap thickener and dries hair out with continued use; it is not here.

The scent is INFINITY, fresh mint. It is the most recognisable in the whole range and the one that works best in the first shower of the day.

Why “frequent use” is not decoration

Hotel shampoo is not used like the one at home. At home, one person uses their own, the one their hair is used to. In a hotel every guest arrives with different hair — coloured, oily, fine, curly — and the shampoo has to be neutral enough not to ruin any of them. That is why a frequent-use formula is the right call even if on paper it looks the least spectacular: it is the one that generates fewest complaints.

Coverage

A 450 ml bottle gives around 45 washes, counting 10 ml per use on medium-length hair. That is noticeably less than a shower gel yields, because the shampoo dose is larger: worth bearing in mind when planning restocking, since the shampoo bottle empties before the gel one even if both are set out on the same day.

With or without conditioner

The formula already leaves hair manageable, so the conditioner is not compulsory: it is the step you add when the category of the property calls for it, or when local water is hard and hair ends up rough.

And if the goal is to solve the whole shower with a single bottle, the alternative is the 3-in-1, which combines shampoo, conditioner and gel. You gain in housekeeping and lose in specialisation: the 3-in-1 washes well, but this shampoo washes better.
